managers, Polly-L crew, dive masters,
operational and administrative support staff are
experienced and dedicated. |

Doug
Pope is Amelia's President/CEO and is
responsible for all company
operations. An innovator of
advanced treasure hunting systems, under
Mr. Pope's leadership Amelia's Team
designed our lift boat, the excavator,
and the combined cofferdam and sluice
box mining system. An experienced
diver, Mr. Pope has almost 20 years of
treasure exploration experience. Doug is a
decorated helicopter pilot, serving in Vietnam and
Operation Desert Storm. |

Ed Gavron provides consulting
services in advanced dive equipment and systems,
financial planning, and is Amelia’s treasurer.
He has been primarily responsible for the
promotion and success of Amelia Research
in our homeport of Fernandina Beach,

Arnie
Hofflander, a resident of Amelia Island
Florida, is a retired IBM computer
specialist. Arnie provides Amelia financial
planning, marketing and senior management
consulting services, as a contributor to
day-to-day management and public relations
activities. He provides the backbone of local
support for Amelia Research along with his
wife Jane. |
